Today the Dreieich brass quartet played at the family service of the erb. Versöhnungsgemeinde in Dreieich- Zuschlag. We wish all families a Merry Christmas and peaceful holidays.

One of my Highlights this year was the Last week. I flew to Teneriffa for 7 days and played 12 (!) Gigs during der Bavarian week. There also was some time for vacation and relaxing.

Today I played some Christmas music at the tower of Erasmus-Alberus-Church in Dreieich - Sprendlingen. You could hear the music at the Lindenplatz.

Today I played at a funeral in Dreieich - Sprendlingen.

What a wonderful day with the orchestra of STG 1848 e.V. The Orchestra played some mixed tunes under my conduction at the terrace of concert hall Dreieich.

In the occasion of an 70th birthday I did a wonderful surprising concert with the Orchestra of STG 1848 e.V. Of course with enough distance.

To end our winter semester we had an "end of semester concert". I played some jazz standards with my sight reading ensemble. And after the acts we had a short jam session.

Just like every year there was a small concert at the seniors´ party in Buchschlag.

And in the afternoon the trombone choir accompanied the church worship.

What a wonderful Christmas Eve!

The Academy of Stage Arts in Oberursel invited me to accompany some of the students´ songs.

After the show acts there was a little party with hot wine punch and a few snacks.

A really good Christmas concert!

There is a new Melancholia Sessions recording upcoming.

It was a chilled night when we recorded a song with the singer Clarissa Taeuber. And even i sang some of the vocals.

For the first time I had a wonderful concert for seniors of STG 1848 e.V. with my brass Sextet. The Seniors were Singing to the Christmas songs we played and everybody felt ready for Christmas.

As last year I played with the orchestra of TV Stierstadt at their Christmas Concert. We played a few Movie themes like The Lion King and Frozen.  

As every year we had our traditional concert at the Christmas market in Sprendlingen. We played some modern American Christmas Tunes and some German Christmas traditionals too.

We had this kind of concert for the second time in a row but this time we had some support by the Choir "tonART", the Accordion orchestra and a solo singer who joined my orchestra for "the rose" which I had arranged for that night.

As every year we opened the Christmas market in front of the Erasmus-Alberus-Church. It was cold but the principal had some warming words for the audience.

Young Urban Jazz is an organization for young students to become acquainted with jazz music. We opened the concert night with standards like Equinox, Lullaby of Birdland and agua de beber.

My last Oktoberfest for this year! What a night. We  celebrated really well and had a lot of fun making music. I am looking forward to playing next season!

The Oktoberfest in Limburg was a great event with a really nice audience. We had a lot of fun.

For opening the Stadtfest  we played Germany´s national hymn after the principal held a short speech. And of course we played many other songs.

It was an honor for me to play with Konstantin Wecker an Jo Barnikel with the Taunus Chamber Orchestra and a small band. It was a great show with many important statements from Mr. Wecker.

The House of Comedy in Hanau was completely full that night and the singers of the Academy of Stage Arts and the Orchestra had a lot of fun.

It was a rainy afternoon but nevertheless the event was a lot of fun and many people came to listen to our good brass music and to celebrate the inauguration.

All the people in Heldenbergen were celebrating with us - until the night!

Many people in Oktoberfest clothing but also casually dressed people were dancing and singing with us. We had a lot of fun with such a great audience.

Since the Oktoberfest Season in Germany has begun, I played at the Oktoberfest in Oberstedten. Of course we always wear "Lederhosen" an "Dirndl" for creating the right atmosphere.

After having Mastered the tests really successfully, some of them even 100 per cent correct, i played with my Ensembles at the concert. I played Jazz and Pop, sang with my choir and even played for one other Ensemble because they needed me.

Subsequently there was a little Jam session with everyone who wanted to play for fun.

The Oktoberfest season has started again!

On the Villmarer notch it was, like last year, very full. Many motivated tent visitors enjoyed our Oktoberfest music.

On Sunday afternoon, the orchestra under my direction played a few of my chosen pieces,

including movie scores like

"The Black Pearl" or "The Medallion calls" from Pirates of the Caribbean, modern big-band arrangements, for example American Patrol.

The numerous guests were guided by Klaus Laue´s moderation in the afternoon and could enjoy the concert without rain.

Something different.

We have not rehearsed together for about a year and unfortunately we rarely see each other otherwise.

This Sunday night we met in our rehearsal room to play all the songs of our latest record "Behind My Eyes" plus a few other songs as well. Even a page is torn, so much fun we had.

Man, I missed that!

Right on the banks of the Main we played 3 wonderful jazz standards that we rehearsed for weeks before. The open-air concert had a very relaxed, pleasant atmosphere and in the most beautiful sunshine many people were present.

With Reinheitsgebot I made the notch in Oberbrechen with outstanding Oktoberfest music happy.

As shown in the picture, the tent was very crowded and we had many positive tuned singers.

The fun went from 8pm to 1pm and the whole village was celebrating.

On the evening of August 13th, the incineration of kerosene took place in Bürgerpark Sprendlingen.

The Musikzug led Kerbborschen and Kerbbesucher from Kerbplatz to the Bürgerpark, where finally the Kerbpuppe was burned.

On Saturday, the 10th of August, in the afternoon I traveled with the Musikzug of the STG Sprendlingen as a trombonist from the parking lot of the Bürgerhaus towards Kerbplatz. On the way there were American marches and of course the "Sprendlinger song" to hear.

Saturday, July 13th, I played with Clarissa in the church in Offenthal.

We accompanied a baptism in connection with a musically entertained marriage. It was an emotional afternoon full of joy and happiness.

On Friday morning at 10 Karsten and I started with a wedding party in Frankfurt.

We drove to Marxheim and accompanied the bus ride with entertaining Oktoberfest music.

From the gig in Bad Soden I drove to the Sprendlinger Weinfest to conduct my orchestra there.

We entertained the visitors of the festival with traditional brass music and sonicated the Sprendlinger Bürgerpark for about 1.5 hours.

I had the "shell concert" in Bad Soden on a warm Sunday morning.

We played on 23th June with the Oktoberfestband Gaudi-Express on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the youth fire department Bad Soden.

While the audience could enjoy a cold beer in the most beautiful sunshine, I stood with Gaudi-Express on the shady stage.
